GeneralJust like the API TranZformer CMP compressor, the Select TranZformer GTR clean boost and overdrive comes wrapped up in a compact, pedalboard-friendly box. The EQ circuit is also identical to the one found in the guts of API’s legendary preamps of old, and as such, this stompbox is able to apply up to 15dBs of gain to three separate frequency bands, and the OpAmp-loaded input can be flipped from clean boost to overdrive mode as needed, gifting the Select TranZformer GTR with a satisfyingly diverse tonal range. Powered by any standard 9 or 18 Volt power supply, this pedal includes pro-grade details like a buffered bypass switch and a -20dB pad output switch.
