The D’Angelico Excel SS semi-acoustic features the smooth comfort of a C neck profile and the throwback tone of a maple body finished with a spruce top. The bound ebony fretboard has been finished with a set of twenty-two medium-jumbo frets, every last one of which is easily accessed via the deep and graceful cutaway.

Two Seymour Duncan 59 humbuckers spit thick and defined amplified sound, which can be thinned out to deliver some single-coil flavour via the push/pull coil-split switches supplied per pickup.
