Everything is navigated via a clear 2.42 inch OLED display screen, and loaded into the menu, you’ll already find fifty artist-made patches pre-configured by names like Tony Iommi, Lari Basilio, Tom Quayle, Martin Miller, Billy Duffy, Alex Hutchings, Vernon Reid and more.

The Difference Engine

This expansive, forward-thinking stompbox is easily integrated into any live rig or studio setup and provides both stereo inputs and outputs for the purpose. It also offers MIDI functionality on the side, and by adding an expression pedal (not included), parameters can be tweaked and warped hands-free and in real-time. Designed and built by Laney in the United Kingdom, The Difference Engine simply guarantees superior-grade sound and superior-grade performance.
